VANILLA SKY
PLOT: David Aames takes all he has for granted; his wealth, his inherited publishing company, his good looks - his relationships. Especially his relationships. It catches up to him when a friend/sometimes sex-partner can't see their relationship the way he sees it. From that point, the movie takes a Lynchian twist that ultimately and literally pulls us into Aames' tortured psyche.

PLOT: After the Governer's daughter, Elizabeth Swann, is kidnapped by the Pirate Captain Barbossa, Elizabeth's childhood friend Will Turner must team up with rogue pirate Jack Sparrow to save her. Little do they know that these pirates are cursed. Forced to exist between living and dead, and only revealing their skeleton forms in the moonlight, the pirates intend to use Elizabeth's blood and necklace (a part of their curse) to return to their normal state.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS
PLOT:Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) returns to Hogwarts School of Wizardry for his second year. After a confrontation with a house elf named Dobby, Harry escapes to the Weasley house with Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) in a flying car. They are then late for the train and have to ride it to school. When they get there, strange happenings invade the school. "Mudbloods" (people of Muggle families) are "petrified" by an evil monster lurking in the grounds. When every one suspects that it is him, the trio then set out to find the culprit and find out more than they bargained for: the diary of Tom Riddle, why Hagrid was expelled and what the Chamber of Secrets is and why is it so feared in Hogwarts.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE
PLOT: Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts is marked by the Triwizard Tournament, in which student representatives from three different wizarding schools compete in a series of increasingly challenging contests. The competitors are selected by the goblet of fire, which this year makes a very surprising anouncement: Hogwarts will have two representatives in the tournament, including Harry Potter! As if things weren't bad enough, marks of the evil wizard Voldemort begin appearing, signaling that he is finally ready to come back to the land of the living.

A WALK TO REMEMBER
PLOT: In a coastal North Carolinian small town in the mid 1990's, a boy from the popular but troubled undirected group of students gets busted, and for punishment, you guessed it, has to do community service activities which include the high school's spring play. This throws him in with the minister's daughter, you guessed it, the mousy seemingly awkward yet beautiful girl with an angelic heart, and she sings too. They grow hesitantly closer than their previous adversarial relationship as old bonds are tested and new awarenesses are inspired. A couple twists occur as the story concludes.

IN GOOD COMPANY
PLOT:Dan Foreman is headed for a shakeup. He is demoted from head of ad sales for a major magazine when the company he works for is acquired in a corporate takeover. His new boss, Carter Duryea, is half his age--a business school prodigy who preaches corporate synergy. While Dan develops clients through handshake deals and relationships, Carter cross-promotes the magazine with the cell phone division and Krispity Krunch, an indeterminate snack food under the same corporate umbrella. Both men are going through turmoil at home. Dan has two daughters, Alex, age 18, and Jana, age 16, and is shocked when his wife tells him she's pregnant with a new child. Carter, in the meanwhile, is dumped by his wife of seven months just as he gets his promotion. Dan and Carter's uneasy friendship is thrown into jeopardy when Carter falls for, and begins an affair with, Dan's daughter Alex.

PLOT: Benjamin Berry is a guy who makes a bet to his boss that he can win the job of advertising diamonds before the two evil girls, Green and Spears, do. Andie Anderson is a girl who is trying to reach her goal to be able to write anything she likes in the magazine company that she works for, Composure. Just when her friend has broken up with her man, the boss of Composure finds out and decides to write it up as an article. Best friend Andie kicks in and offers the boss, Lana, a deal to write an article called "How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days". Lana agrees and if she successfully does the article, she can write anything she likes. At a bar, Benjamin shows up and Green and Spears challenge him to a bet to see if Andie will love him in the end of 10 days. Uh-oh, Andie is trying to LOSE a guy in 10 days. So you understand the rest.

WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE
PLOT: Gilbert Grape lives in Endora, a place where nothing much happens. The only times the police got something to do is when Gilbert's autistic brother Arnie tries to climb up on the watertower nearby. Taking care of Arnie is mostly Gilbert's task which can be pretty demanding, at least while you are working at the local grocery store. Then one day Becky and her grandmother passes through Endora getting trouble with the car. Gilbert falls in love with Becky, but gets problems when he tries to find time for his own private life.
